LM2596S Adjustable Voltage Converter (TO-263)

The device features an output enable (OE) and send/receive (DIR) for direction control. A HIGH on OE causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance OFF-state. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC.

ISO3082 is an isolated half duplex differential line transceivers for TIA/EIA 485/422 applications. These devices are ideal for long transmission lines because the ground loop is broken to allow for a much larger common-mode voltage range. The symmetrical isolation barrier of the device is tested to provide 2500 VRMS of isolation for 60 s per UL 1577 between the bus-line transceiver and the logic-level interface.

Any cabled I/O can be subjected to electrical noise transients from various sources. These noise transients can cause damage to the transceiver and/or nearby sensitive circuitry if they are of sufficient magnitude and duration. These isolated devices can significantly increase protection and reduce the risk of damage to expensive control circuits.

MAX3232 device?consists of two line drivers, two line receivers, and a dual charge-pump circuit with ?15-kV ESD protection pin to pin (serial-port connection pins, including GND). The device meets the requirements of TIA/EIA-232-F and provides the electrical interface between an asynchronous communication controller and the serial-port connector. The charge pump and four small external capacitors allow operation from a single 3-V to 5.5-V supply. The devices operate at data signalling rates up to 250 kbit/s and a maximum of 30-V/?s driver output slew rate.

Microchip Technology?s MCP2515 is a stand-alone?Controller Area Network (CAN) controller that?implements the CAN specification, version 2.0B. It is?capable of transmitting and receiving both standard?and extended data and remote frames. The MCP2515?has two acceptance masks and six acceptance filters?that are used to filter out unwanted messages, thereby?reducing the host MCU?s overhead. The MCP2515 CAN Controller?interfaces with microcontrollers (MCUs) via an industry?standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).
