Description

The 71M6513 is a system-on-chip (SoC) having an MPU core, real-time clock (RTC), flash memory, and an LCD driver. With a 21-bit delta-sigma ADC, six analogue inputs, digital temperature correction, precision voltage reference, and 32-bit calculation engine (CE), our Single Converter Technology? offers a wide range of poly-phase metering applications with relatively few low-cost external components.

A 32kHz crystal time foundation for the whole system, as well as inbuilt battery backup support for RAM and RTC, lower system costs even more. Multiple UARTs, I2C, a power fail comparator, a 5V LCD charge pump, up to 22 DIO pins, and an in-system programmable flash enable maximum design freedom.

For multifunction residential/commercial metre applications needing numerous voltage/current inputs and sophisticated LCD or DIO layouts, the device is available in high (0.1%) and standard (0.5%) accuracy versions. A comprehensive set of ICE and development tools, programming libraries, and reference designs allows for the quick creation and certification of metres that satisfy the most stringent global power metering standards.
