MAX1489ECPD
The MAX1489E quad, low-power line receiver is
designed for EIA/TIA-232, EIA/TIA-562, and CCITT V.28
communications in harsh environments. Each receiver
input is protected against ?15kV electrostatic discharge (ESD) shocks. These inputs have a ?25V range
and feature hysteresis and time-domain filtering. The
outputs are TTL and CMOS compatible. The MAX1489E
has a 120kbps guaranteed data rate. Supply current is
typically 350?A.
The MAX1489E is pin compatible with the MC1489,
MC14C89, SN75189, SN75C189, DS1489, and
DS14C89. It is available in 14-pin plastic DIP and SO
packages
MAX153CAP
The MAX153 high-speed, microprocessor (?P)-compatible,
8-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) uses a half-flash
technique to achieve a 660ns conversion time, and digitizes at a rate of 1M samples per second (Msps). It operates
with single 5V or dual ?5V supplies and accepts either
unipolar or bipolar inputs. A POWERDN (power-down)
pin reduces current consumption to a typical value of 1?A
(with 5V supply). The part returns from power-down to
normal operating mode in less than 200ns, providing large
reductions in supply current in applications with burstmode input signals.

MAX164CCNG
The DS1683 is an integrated elapsed-time recorder containing a factory-calibrated, low-temperature-coefficient
RC time base that eliminates the need for an external
crystal. Using EEPROM technology to maintain data in
the absence of power, the DS1683 requires no backup
power source. The DS1683 detects and records the number of falling edge transitions on the EVENT pin as well
as the total cumulative time that the EVENT pin is held
high. The ALARM pin alerts the user when the total time
accumulated equals or exceeds the user-programmed
alarm value, or when the total number of events equals
or exceeds the user-programmed alarm value. The polarity of the open-drain ALARM pin can be programmed
to either drive low or become high impedance upon an
alarm condition. The DS1683 is ideal for applications that
monitor the total amount of time that a device has been
in operation and/or the number of uses since inception
service, repair, or last calibration.
MAX1771CSA
The MAX1771 step-up switching controller provides
90% efficiency over a 30mA to 2A load. A unique current-limited pulse-frequency-modulation (PFM) control
scheme gives this device the benefits of pulse-widthmodulation (PWM) converters (high efficiency at heavy
loads), while using less than 110?A of supply current (vs.
2mA to 10mA for PWM converters).
This controller uses miniature external components. Its
high switching frequency (up to 300kHz) allows surface-mount magnetics of 5mm height and 9mm diameter. It accepts input voltages from 2V to 16.5V. The
output voltage is preset at 12V, or can be adjusted
using two resistors
MAX186 Low Power 8-Channel Serial 12-Bit ADC Maxim DIP-20 Package
MAX186DCWP
The MAX186 evaluation system (EV system) consists of
a MAX186 evaluation kit (EV kit) connected to a Maxim
80C32 microcontroller (?C) module. The unit connects
to an IBM-compatible personal computer running software provided with the MAX186 EV kit. Both boards
come fully assembled and tested.
Using the EV system, the MAX186 input multiplexer can
be software-configured in a variety of single-ended or differential modes with unipolar or bipolar input ranges. The
MAX186 can be evaluated with a VSS voltage of 0V or
-5V, selectable from the personal computer?s keyboard.
The EV system is also useful for evaluating the
MAX186?s shutdown feature. The MAX186 can be
operated in three states of readiness between conversions. There are provisions for monitoring the supply
current in the different shutdown states, and for varying
the delay between conversions
MAX189ACWE
The MAX187 evaluation system (EV system) consists of a
MAX187 evaluation kit (EV kit) board plus a Maxim
68HC16 microcontroller (?C) module. Both boards come
fully assembled and tested, and software is provided. The
unit connects to an IBM-compatible personal computer.
The EV system can function as a data acquisition system,
collecting samples from the MAX187, storing them in memory, and displaying the conversion results on the host computer. Conversions may be self-timed or synchronized to
an external timebase. Waveforms can be digitized and displayed graphically versus time.
MAX191ACWG
The MAX191 is a monolithic, CMOS, 12-bit analog-todigital converter (ADC) featuring differential inputs,
track/hold (T/H), internal voltage reference, internal or
external clock, and parallel or serial ?P interface. The
MAX191 has a 7.5?s conversion time, a 2?s acquisition
time, and a guaranteed 100ksps sample rate.
The MAX191 operates from a single 5V supply or from
dual ?5V supplies, allowing ground-referenced bipolar
input signals. The device features a logic power-down
input, which reduces the 3mA VDD supply current to
50?A max, including the internal-reference current.
MAX202CSE
MAX200-MAX209, MAX211, and MAX213 are a family
of RS-232 and V.28 transceivers with integrated charge
pump circuitry for single 5V supply operation.
The drivers maintain the ?5V EIA/TIA-232E output signal
levels at data rates in excess of 120kbps when loaded in
accordance with the EIA/TIA-232E specification.
The MAX211 and MAX213 are available in a 28-pin, wide
small-outline (SO) package and a 28-pin shrink smalloutline (SSOP) package, which occupies only 40% of the
area of the SO. The MAX207 is available in a 24-pin SO
package and a 24-pin SSOP. The MAX203 and MAX205
use no external components and are recommended for
applications with limited circuit board space
