HCNW-4502
These diode-transistor optocouplers use an insulating
layer between a LED and an integrated photodetector to
provide electrical insulation between input and output.
Separate connections for the photodiode bias and output-transistor collector increase the speed up to a hundred times that of a conventional phototransistor coupler
by reducing the base-collector capacitance.
These single channel optocouplers are available in
8-Pin DIP, SO-8 and Widebody package configurations
HCNW2211-300E
The Broadcom? HCPL-22XX, HCPL-02XX, and
HCNW22XX are optically coupled logic gates. The
HCPL22XX and HCPL-02XX contain a GaAsP LED while
the HCNW22XX contains an AlGaAs LED. The detectors
have totem pole output stages and optical receiver input
stages with built-in Schmitt triggers to provide
logic-compatible waveforms, eliminating the need for
additional waveshaping.
A superior internal shield on the HCPL-2211/12,
HCPL-0211, HCPL-2232, and HCNW2211 guarantees
common mode transient immunity of 10 kV/?s at a common
mode voltage of 1000V
HCNW2611
Broadcom? 6N137, HCPL-26xx/06xx/4661, and HCNW137/26x1 optically connected gates consist of a GaAsP light emitting diode and an inbuilt high gain photo detector. The detector may be strobed using an enable input. The detector IC's output is an open collector Schottky-clamped transistor. At Vcm = 1000V, the internal shield offers a certified common mode transient tolerance standard of up to 15,000 V/s.
This one-of-a-kind design achieves TTL compatibility while providing optimal AC and DC circuit isolation. The AC and DC operational characteristics of the optocoupler are assured from -40?C to 85?C, providing for trouble-free system performance.
