The device features an output enable (OE) and send/receive (DIR) for direction control. A HIGH on OE causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance OFF-state. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC.

ISO3082 is an isolated half duplex differential line transceivers for TIA/EIA 485/422 applications. These devices are ideal for long transmission lines because the ground loop is broken to allow for a much larger common-mode voltage range. The symmetrical isolation barrier of the device is tested to provide 2500 VRMS of isolation for 60 s per UL 1577 between the bus-line transceiver and the logic-level interface.

Any cabled I/O can be subjected to electrical noise transients from various sources. It will operate at speeds of up to 1 Mb/s.

Typically, each node in a CAN system must have a?device to convert the digital signals generated by a?CAN controller to signals suitable for transmission over?the bus cabling (differential output). It also provides a?buffer between the CAN controller and the high-voltage?spikes that can be generated on the CAN bus by?outside sources (EMI, ESD, electrical transients, etc.).

The MT8870D/MT8870D-1 is a complete DTMF receiver integrating both the band split filter and digital decoder functions. The filter section uses switched capacitor techniques for high and low group filters; the decoder uses digital counting techniques to detect and decode all 16 DTMF tone pairs into a 4-bit code. External component count is minimized by on chip provision of a differential input amplifier, clock oscillator and latched three-state bus interface.
