Description of P6KE30A
Transil diodes’ clamping effect offers strong overvoltage protection. They are ideally suited to safeguard voltage-sensitive devices like MOS Technology and low voltage supplied ICs because to their immediate response to transient over voltages.
The P6KE Series is made primarily to guard against voltage transients caused due to lightning strikes and other transient voltage occurrences on sensitive electronic equipment.
P6KE30A meets the following requirements
15 kV IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 (air discharge)
– 8 kV (contact discharge)
MIL STD 883G, procedure 3015-7, Class 3
– HBM (human body model)
• 600W peak pulse power at a 10/1000-s waveform with a 0.1% duty cycle repetition rate
• DO-15 Package glass passivated chip junction. Excellent clamping ability; quick reaction time (usually less than 1.0 ps from 0 Volts to BV min); typical failure mode (short from over-specified voltage or current); whisker test done in accordance with Tables 4a and 4c of JEDEC JESD201A
• ESD 30kV(Air) and 30kV IEC 61000-4-2 (Contact)
• Data line EFT protection in compliance with IEC 61000-4-4
• Minimal resistance to incremental surges
• When VBR min>12V, the typical IR is less than 1A.
• Compatible with 260°C/30 s high temperature reflow soldering
• Epoxy that is UL recognised and meets V-0 flammability standards
• Lead-free matte tin plating
• RoHS-compliant and without halogens
• Lead-free E3 designates tin-finished terminals and Pb-free second level connections (Sn)
