The 5KP Series is made primarily to guard against voltage transients brought on by lights and other transient voltage occurrences in sensitive electronic equipment. At a waveform of 10 s x 1000 s, these diodes have a peak pulse power of 5 kW. Axial leaded, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant 5kW 5KP Transient Voltage Suppression Diodes are available. The diodes are perfect for shielding sensitive circuits like I/O interfaces, Vcc buses, and others found in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electrical applications.
