A full audio solution for products requiring LINEIN, MIC IN, LINEOUT, headphone-out, and digital I/O is provided by NXP’s SGTL5000 Low Power Stereo Codec with Headphone Amp. Its architecture is derived from market-available, best-in-class NXP integrated products.

The SGTL5000 has one of the lowest accessible footprints and can combine extremely low power consumption with extremely high performance and functionality.

Target markets include those for media players, navigational aids, smart phones, tablets, fitness equipment, medical gear, and consumer electronics, among others. Features like an inbuilt PLL and cap-less headphones assist reduce system costs overall.
