Description of  NCP1117DT33RKG

The NCP1117 family of low dropout positive voltage regulators may deliver output currents more than 1.0 A with a maximum dropout voltage of 1.2 V at 800 mA over temperature.

There are nine fixed output voltages in this series that have no minimum load required to maintain regulation: 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 1.9 V, 2.0 V, 2.5 V, 2.85 V, 3.3 V, 5.0 V, and 12 V.

A variant with an adjustable output that can be configured to operate between 1.25 V and 18.8 V using two external resistors is also provided.

On-chip trimming provides an accurate adjustment of the reference/output voltage to within 1%.

Output current limitation, safe operating area compensation, and thermal shutdown are among the internal protective measures.
